Planning Commission Regular Meeting and Public Hearing 26-NOV-18

Village of Mead Planning Commission meeting and public hearing of November 26th, 2018

The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. Present were Jody Weible, Wyatt Swartz, Levi Durnal, Connie Schliffke and Melissa Konecky. Jim Halbmaier, Matt Bratsburg and Rick Miller were absent.
We approved the agenda. Connie motioned, and Wyatt seconded, that we approve the minutes from the previous meeting. All agreed.

At 7:33 p.m. we adjourned to the public hearing. We reviewed the application from Rob and Karen LaCroix to re-zone Lots 2, 4, 6, 8,10 and 12 on block 20 from R-2 to M-1. Since adjacent property is also M-1 Connie motioned, and Levi seconded, that we approve this re-zoning. We adjourned the public hearing at 7:44 p.m.

Levi motioned, and Connie seconded, that we recommend to the Village Board to re-zone the lots in question (mentioned in the above paragraph) from R-2 to M-1. All agreed.

Connie motioned, and Levi seconded, that we approve the building permit application from the Village of Mead to construct a 150,000-gallon water tower and fencing at 309 W. Second Street. All agreed.

We briefly discussed the ethanol plant and what is and is not being done out there. We discussed the odors.
At 7:55, Connie motioned, and Levi seconded, that we adjourn our meeting. All agreed.
