Planning Commission Regular Meeting and Public Hearing 23-JUL-18

Village of Mead Planning Commission meeting and public hearing July 23rd, 2018

The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Present were Jody Weible, Matt Bratsburg, Rick Miller, Jim Halbmaier and Melissa Konecky. Levi Durnal, Connie Schliffke and Wyatt Swartz were absent. We approved the agenda. Rick motioned, and Matt seconded, that we approve the minutes from the previous meeting. All agreed.

At 7:32 p.m. we adjourned our regular meeting and opened the public meeting. Scott Subbert’s new addition was zoned Ag but is requesting it be zoned B-1 for his business. Rick motioned, and Jim seconded, that we recommend this zoning change to the Village Board.

The pubic hearing adjourned and we continued on with the regular meeting.

Joshua and Katie Sharp submitted a building permit application to construct front porch on their house. It does not meet setbacks; however, it is in line with the other houses on that side of the street. Rick motioned, and Jim seconded, that we approve the building permit. All agreed

Greg Lavigne, Security Rentals LLC, submitted a building permit application for a fence. This is lot 2 of Girmus Subdivision. Jim motioned, and Rick seconded, that we approve the permit. All agreed.

At 7:50 p.m., Jim motioned, and Rick seconded, that we adjourn the meeting. All agreed.
