Planning Commission Regular Meeting 28-JAN-19

Village of Mead Planning Commission meeting of January 28, 2019

The Village of Mead Planning Commission met Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 7:32 p.m. Present were Jody Weible, Melissa Konecky, Rick Miller, Levi Durnal and Wyatt Swartz. Connie Schliffke, Matt Bratsberg and Jim Halbmaier and were absent. Guests were Josh Girmus and Jacob Swanson.

We approved the agenda.

Rick motioned, and Wyatt seconded, that we approve the minutes of the previous meeting. All agreed.

We received a list of permits issued during 2018.

Josh Girmus submitted an application for replats of lots 7 and 9 at Girmus Investments, LLC. The lots are now vacant. Wyatt motioned, and Levi seconded, that we approve this application. All agreed.

Jacob Swanson is interested in developing the area near No. 1stStreet near the elementary school with a few homes. He has spoken to Nick and is studying the present state of the water table and the extent of utilities. He had questions about a road.

Melissa motioned, and Levi seconded, that we rescind building permit 18-11, issued May 22nd, 2018 for a fence to surround Doug Konecky’s swimming pool. The fence has not been built and the permit was not paid for within three months of issuance.

At 8:00 p.m., Melissa motioned, and Levi seconded, that we adjourn the meeting. All agreed.
