Planning Commission Regular Meeting 27-AUG-18

Village of Mead Planning Commission meeting of August 27th, 2018
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. We approved the agenda. Jim motioned, and Rick seconded, that we approve the minutes from the July 23rd meeting and public hearing. All agreed.
Present were Jody Weible, Rick Miller, Connie Schliffke, Jim Halbmaier, Levi Durnal and Melissa Konecky. Wyatt Swartz and Matt Bratsburg were absent. Guests present were Lyle Boggs, Jason Schutes and Greg Lavigne.
Lyle Boggs of Victor Outdoor Advertising asked about putting some signs along Highway 92, but the signs were much bigger than the ordinance allows and too high off the ground.
Jason Schutes submitted a building permit application for a garage. Since it does not meet setbacks, the permit was amended. with Jason’s approval, to be even with existing buildings. This does not pose a safety issue. Connie motioned, and Jim seconded, that we approve the amended permit. All agreed.
Security Rentals, LLC submitted a building permit application for a pole building. Because of our error, setbacks are only 2’ off the property line in front of the building rather than 25’. Rick motioned, and Levi seconded, that we approve the permit. All agreed.
At 8:02 p.m., Melissa motioned, and Rick seconded, that we adjourn the meeting. All agreed.
