Village of Mead Planning Commission meeting

Monday, January 25th, 2016

 

The Village of Mead Planning Commission met Monday, January 25th, 2016 at 7:32 p.m.  Present were Wayne Swartz, Levi Durnal, Rick Miller, Ruth Dobesh, Jason Felty and Melissa Konecky.  Jody Weible and Connie Schliffke were absent.

 

Rick motioned, and Melissa seconded, that we adopt the agenda.  All agreed.  Wyatt motioned, and Rick seconded, that we approve the minutes from the previous meeting.  All agreed.

 

Michael Schaal submitted a building permit application for a 6’ wood fence at 19 North 3rd Circle.  Jason motioned, and Rick seconded, that we approve the permit application.  All agreed.

 

Jeremy Harnish was on the agenda regarding a building permit application to construct a carport but we received no building permit application.  Without the permit application, we could not do anything.  However the building is already there.  The Village of Mead sent Harnishes a letter dated January 13th, 2016.

 

More items at the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 92 and Elm Street have been moved toward Highway 92 and there are worries about a possible vision hazard for traffic.

 

On January 12th, the Town Board approved the transfer of a larger trailer in for a smaller one at C & L Villa (resolution 16-01).

 

We reviewed the building/demolition permit report for 2015.

 

At 8:20 p.m., Melissa motioned, and Jason seconded, that we adjourn the meeting. All agreed.
