VILLAGE OF MEAD – PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETING MINUTES – April 25, 2022

Mead Community Building, 220 E. Fourth St.

The Village of Mead Planning Commission met Monday, April 25, 2022, at 6:32 pm. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Levi Durnal with roll call.  Present were Levi Durnal, Robert Morin, James Hannan, Connie Schliffke, and Jim Halbmaier.  Not in attendance were Wyatt Swartz.

Chairman states: “The Village of Mead makes available at least one current copy of the Open Meetings Act posted in the meeting room at a location accessible to members of the public. The Act is posted in the front entry of the Community Building.”

Jim motioned, and Connie seconded the motion to approve the agenda.  All members present agreed.

James motioned, and Jim seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the February 28 and March 28 regular meetings.

NEW BUSINESS

The board discussed the re-appointment to a three-year term of Connie Schliffke. Connie agreed to remain on the board.

The board reviewed information that the Board of Trustees voided Building Permit 21-23, Jordan Schliffke, to erect front steps due to a change in plans. No additional action was taken.

Review and discuss permit application from Brian Degner, 1055 Gassert Dr. (SR) – Building Permit Application to construct an in-ground swimming pool.

Following discussion of the application Jim motioned, and Robert seconded to recommend approval of the permit to the Village Board. All members present agreed.

At 7:07 pm the Chair called for adjournment.  Jim motioned, and Connie seconded.  All members present agreed.
