Village of Mead Planning Commission Meeting

Monday August 24, 2020

 

The Village of Mead Planning Commission met Monday, August 24th, 2020 at 7:30 PM. Meeting was called to order by President Rick Miller with roll call.  Present were Rick Miller, Levi Durnal, Robert Morin Connie Schliffke, Wyatte Swartz and Pat Hannan.

 

Chair states: “The Village of Mead makes available at least one current copy of the Open Meetings Act posted in the meeting room at a location accessible to members of the public.  The Act is posted in the front entry of the Village Office.”

 

Wyatt motioned and Connie seconded the motion to approve agenda.  All agreed. Connie motioned and Jim seconded, to approve the minutes of the July 27, 2020 regular meeting.

 

Scheduled Guests: No Guests were Scheduled.

 

The Chair opened discussion of Unfinished Business. The following items were discussed.

Building Permit Application from Yong An to install a fence at 1054 Sunburst Ln (M-1).  Following discussion of the application Robert motioned to approve and Connie seconded.  All members present voted to approve the application.

 

Building Permit Application from Greg and Laura Clark to install a house at 421 S. Cedar St. (R-2) Following discussion of the application, Pat motioned to approve, and Robert seconded.  All members present voted to approve the application.

 

Approval is contingent on the Village Board approval and must conform with regulations 11-401 thru 11-406.

 

The Chair opened discussion of New Business. The following items were discussed.

 

Building Permit Application from Norma Konecky, 704 S. Vine St. (R-1) to construct a fence (fence has been installed) Following discussion of the application, Connie motioned to approve, and Robert seconded.  All members present voted to approve the application.

 

Building Permit Application from Steve and Mary Mayfield, 114 E. Fifth St (R-2) to erect a chain-link fence.  Following discussion of the application, Robert motioned to approve, and Connie seconded.  All members present voted to approve the application.

 

Building Permit Application from Kristopher Norris, 620 S. Elm St. (R-1) to erect a wire fence.  Following discussion of the application, Wyatt motioned to approve, and Pat seconded.  All members present voted to approve the application.

 

No unscheduled guests were in attendance.

 

At 8:39 PM the chair called for adjournment. Pat motioned and Connie seconded.

 

All agreed.
