VILLAGE OF MEAD – PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES – SEPTEMBER 23,2024
Mead Village Office, 312 S. Vine Street, Mead, NE 68041

The Village of Mead Planning Commission met Monday, September 23, 2024, at 6:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Robert Morin with roll call. Present were Robert Morin, Andrew Jackson, Wyatt Swartz and Austin Miller. Members not in attendance were James Halbmeier and Ronald Pelton.

Oaths of office were taken by Wyatt Swartz and Austin Miller.

A motion was made to approve the agenda by Andrew Jackson and seconded by Robert Morin.

A call was made for nominations for Chairman. Robert Morin put forth Andrew Jackson as Chairman. Andrew accepted the nomination. All in attendance were in favor.

A call was made for nominations for Vice Chairman. Andrew Jackson put forth Scott Morin as Vice Chairman. Scott accepted the nomination. All in attendance were in favor.

A call was made for nominations for Secretary. Austin Miller offered to accept the position. All in attendance were in favor.

A motion was made to approve minutes of the April 2, 2024 regular meeting and two Public Hearings by Scott Morin and seconded by Andrew Jackson. All in attendance were in favor.

There were no unscheduled guests in attendance.

Conversation was had about progress at Alt-En and the various permits/variances that had been approved since the last regular meeting.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Robert Morin and seconded by Wyatt Swartz.
