The zoning text needs to be amended. Accessory buildings are not actually allowed on a property without a residence unless it is in Ag or Suburban Residential.
Any references to a “main building” in R-1 and R-2 should be changed to “residence.”
The last phrase of 11-304-A., 12., “Provided, any accessory building is not constructed prior to beginning construction of the main building” is being deleted.
This same phrase, “Provided, any accessory building is not constructed prior to beginning construction of the main building” will be added to the end of 11-305-A, and added as 10.
In 11-306-A-8, 8., the last two words “main building” is being replaced with “residence.”
In 11-307-A, 11., The first two words “accessory building” will be replaced with “residence.” As 13., we are adding “Provided, any accessory building is not constructed prior to beginning construction of the main building.”
