The Mead Planning Commission met Monday, May 18, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.

 Present were Jody Weible, Rick Miller, Steve Kadavy and Jennie Grasiani. Connie Schliffke, Melissa Konecky and Levi Durnal were absent.

 Jennie motioned and Rick seconded, that we adopt the agenda and approve the minutes from the April 27, 2015 meeting. All agreed. With the following amendments to the minutes: Amend 11-306A 5 and 6 to 11-306C to include golf courses, cemeteries and add greenhouses to permitted conditional uses. 11-306 E parking spaces should be improved surfaces. Add to 11-306 B1 no accessory bldgs shall be erected in any front yard and no separate accessory bldg shall be erected within 5 feet of any other bldg.

 We Discussed the new business of Bukaske’s building permit to build a deck at 116 S. Elm St. Jody mentioned it meets all setbacks. Rick made a motion to approve the permit. Steve seconded, and all agreed.

 We Reviewed Frahm’s building permit to build a deck at 210 S. Vine St. Rick mentioned it meets all setbacks. Jennie made a motion to approve the permit. Rick seconded, and all approved.

 We the discussed the expiring terms in May 2015. Levi agreed to serve another term.  Steve and Jennie agreed to stay on until replacements become available.

 We recommend the Board of Trustees consider Ruth Dobesh as a replacement for Dennis Berry, as a new member.

 No public presence to address residences concerns.

 We recognized the appointments of Terry Miller as Bldg Inspector and Jerry Carlson as Zoning Administrator and Nuisance Enforcement Officer.

 We felt it would be better to review the Comprehensive Plan Zoning Regulations when we have more members present.

 At 7:50 p.m. Jennie motioned to adjourn the meeting. Rick seconded and all agreed.
