Can you help?

Since this summer, Mead has been trapping free-roaming cats and then have them vaccinated against rabies, neutered or spayed, and returned to the community or adopted. Their ears will be tipped to show the process has been completed.

If you are interested in making a monetary donation toward this project, deliver to the Bank of Mead or Village office. Thank-you!

Welcome, Ron Pelton as a member of the Mead Planning Commission.

PICKLEBALL/BASKETBALL COURTS AT THE VILLAGE PARK

The Mead Days Committee is excited to announce that we are in the process of installing pickleball/basketball courts at the Village Park. We will be constructing a 60×60 concrete slab that will enable two pickleball courts and an overlapping basketball court. We have raised enough funds through Mead Days events to cover this cost with volunteers helping with the concrete work.

We are seeking donations for the fence, painting of courts. and electrical work. If you would like to donate to this project, feel free to drop your donation off at the Bank of Mead or mail it to Bank of Mead, P.O. Box 155, Mead, NE 68041. Checks need to be made payable to the Mead Educational Foundation. The foundation is a 501C and donations may be used for tax deductions.
