Old Business:

  • The board needs 20 continuing education units before August 2017 and 30 is needed by the director prior to June 2017.

  • The new computers have arrived, however some work needs to be done to the computers first to set up for library use. There is an IT person at Keene Memorial Library, Kelly Olson, that has given us a written proposal to set up all three new computers. Kavan motioned to approve the written proposal of $300 for the computer set up by Kelly Olson, second by Nicola.
  • Nancy will propose putting an ad in the newspaper to the Friends for a membership drive.
  • There was a low attendance for the beauty and blindfolded books fall program held on October 4.
  • Food for Fines is going very well.  Well over 20 items returned. The grant from the Read Outloud foundation have been picked up and will be delivered with the food from the Foods for Fines. Nancy would like to invite the Wahoo Newspaper along with someone from the backpack program to pick up the items and feature an article in the paper.
