Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, October 5, 2021

1. Meeting was called to order by Jen Lee at 5:06pm.  Open Meetings Act poster was pointed out on the west wall of the back room.
2. Roll Call:
   1. Members Present-Mayfield, Grasiani, Lee, Hickman
   2. Member Absent- King
   3. Also Present-Library Director-Laurie Van Ackeren
3. No Guests or Public Items to discuss
4. Business Items
   1. Story time attendance was up this month
   2. Fall Fling activity had 30 kids and 15 adults in attendance.
5. Director’s Report
   1. Back door will be replaced
   2. Restroom will be painted
   3. New carper for front room has been selected.
   4. November is Read Aloud Month—looking for Guest Readers for story hour.
   5. October 17^th-23 is National Friends of the Library Month
   6. Indoor scavenger hunt is a hit and will be on-going
   7. Mead School early out on October 7^th=craft activity
   8. Mead School early out on October 28^th =game time
6. Board Member Reports-none at this time

   1. Grasiani moved to approve.
   2. Seconded by Hickman.
   3. Motion carried.
