Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, October 4, 2022

1. Meeting was called to order by Jen Lee at 5:33pm.  Open Meetings Act poster was pointed out on the west wall of the back room.
2. Roll Call:
   1. Members Present-Mayfield (2024), Hickman (2024), Lee (2022)
   2. Member Absent- King (2025), Grasiani (2022)
   3. Also Present-Library Director-Laurie Van Ackeren (Via Zoom), Library staff Roberta Kisling and Viki Miller
3. No Guests or Public Items to discuss
4. Business Items
   1. We are seeking a Board Member replacement to begin in January.
   2. The public printer died – Mary will explore options and Roberta will investigate grants.
   3. Mary will distribute calendars at the elementary as soon as they are printed
5. Director’s Report
   1. We will discontinue toddler time for now and explore options to increase usage.
   2. We will start a new Facebook page to solve “manager” issues.
   3. Upcoming Events

1. Thursday, October 27-Pop-Up Movie-6pm-Where the Crawdads Sing
2. Friday, October 28^th-Spooky Movie- PG13-10am
3. Saturday, October 31-Halloween Craft Hour 10am-all ages.

1. Minutes, Bills, Financials, and Monthly Reports for September
   1. Mayfield moved to approve.
   2. Seconded by Lee.
   3. Motion carried.
